Discover the STUMARA Experience

A Supra is more than just a feast—it's a vibrant social event where friends and family come together to celebrate with food, wine, and heartfelt toasts. Lead by a Tamada (toastmaster), each toast is a meaningful part of the gathering, reflecting the deep traditions of Georgian hospitality. A Supra is a true expression of community, connection, and celebration.

The word "Gvino" (ღვინო) means "wine" in Georgian. It reflects Georgia's deep-rooted winemaking culture, which dates back over 8,000 years. The term embodies more than just the beverage—it symbolizes tradition, hospitality, and the art of winemaking that is central to Georgia’s identity. Whether made in qvevri (clay vessels) or modern methods, gvino is a vital part of Georgian feasts and a bridge between the past and present of this ancient winemaking heritage.
At Stumara, we’re proud to offer authentic qvevri wines imported directly from Georgia, giving you a true taste of this ancient tradition.
A qvevri (ქვევრი) is a large, egg-shaped clay vessel used in traditional Georgian winemaking. Qvevris are designed for natural fermentation and aging. Grapes, along with their skins, seeds, and juice, are placed inside the vessel to ferment and mature.

At Stumara, our interior tells a story as rich as our cuisine. One highlight is our custom wallpaper featuring excerpts from "The Knight in the Panther’s Skin" (Vepkhistkaosani), the iconic 12th-century epic by Georgian poet Shota Rustaveli. This timeless masterpiece reflects the depth of Georgian culture and history, creating an atmosphere that immerses you in the soul of Georgia.

We are super happy to have spent the evening there as a family, delicious food and full tummies!
Stumara is the best restaurant I’ve ever dined at. There is nothing else to say it’s just the best. I’ve never been to a restaurant I’ve liked more. The food is so tasty, everything I’ve tried is amazing. Anna takes the time to explain each dish. On top of that, the atmosphere is calm and comfortable.
Ahhh! Not enough words to describe how much I have enjoyed this place! Service and owner are the sweetest people! True Georgian food! Thank you so much! Will come back every time I am in town!
